Tristar PetroServ® has the skills, experience and equipment to deinventory and clean conventional tanks with products such as naphtha, gasoline, diesel, LCO and benzene. We minimize safety risks and maximize speed with advanced technologies that reduce manned entry before performing a final cleaning with highly-trained crews.
PetroServ offers tank sweep nozzles, slurry extraction devices (SED), robotics, specialty pumps, manway cannons and infrared cameras to minimize entry. These advanced technologies lower risks associated with confined space entry and emissions/permit compliance.
Our SED systems inject cutter and remove material simultaneously, ensuring that broken down solids do not settle before removal.
Robotics minimize manned entry by cleaning vessels that have extremely hazardous products or atmospheres. ROVs are paired with camera mounts so operators can safely maneuver and monitor progress at a distance.
Our pump systems include high-velocity jet-nozzles and high volume, high pressure pumps and hoses to provide an effective circulation (and chemical application if required) without the fear of leaks or ruptured hoses.
Manway Cannons are remotely controlled, hydraulic-powered nozzles that minimize manned entry, assist in degassing high VOC vessels, neutralize pyrophoric material and H2S, and de-inventory tanks to allow final cleaning. Mounted cameras guide operators as they rotate cannons in multiple directions, maximizing contact.
Infrared technology allows us to see how much product is solidified vs. slurry and how effective a circulation is during the cleaning process, all without opening the tank itself.
